University Village Hall Council (UVHC) is the official Residence Hall Association of Purdue University Calumet whose primary purposes are to represent the University Village residents in all aspects of campus life, to create opportunities for students to interact, and to provide leadership for change in accordance with the goals of the Department of Housing and Residential Education (HRE). UVHC will also provide communication and cooperation with HRE, to seek solutions to problems facing residents, and to act as a central government to University Village residents. UVHC shall promote and maintain a culture that is rich in the following:
Courtesy, respect, and consideration for others
Support of the academic mission
The promotion of a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

UVHC successfully implemented and/or participated in more than a dozen programs and community service efforts for The University Village residents for the 2008-2009 academic year. Some of those programs and community service efforts included the University Village Thanksgiving Dinner (November 2008), 3rd Annual Pancake Study Break (December 2008), Resident Appreciation Day (April 2009), and various UVHC Community Service Projects. With your help, we are looking forward to serving the residents again during the 2009-2010 academic year.
