Are you looking for ways to get involved on campus!? UVHC is a great way to start! We have several ways that may be just right for you!
UVHC Executive Board: The UVHC Executive Board is a group of individuals who plan and execute the organization’s meetings and events. The UVHC Executive Officers are President, Vice President / National Communications Coordinator, Director of Finance, Director of Administration, Director of Programming & Diversity, and Director of Marketing.
UVHC Hall Representatives: UVHC Representatives make up the General Assembly (along with the Executive Board). They vote on behalf of their respective halls and help plan all UVHC events and programs. They also serve on at least one UVHC standing committee. Elections and campaigning takes place through the first 4 weeks of classes.
UVHC Ex-Officio Board Members: Ex-officio members shall be members who hold non-voting memberships and shall attend all General Assembly meetings. Ex-officio members are selected in September and are approved by the General Assembly. Standing Ex-Officio members are Webmaster, Newsletter Editor, and Historian. If you have skills in any of these areas please email us GoUVHC@gmail.com.
UV Residents: Any resident of The University Village community shall be considered a member of UVHC. Residents may attend any regularly scheduled UVHC General Assembly meeting in an observatory capacity. Residents may serve on one UVHC standing committee and one committee created by the General Assembly. Residents who attend 4 consecutive General Assembly meetings and successfully serve on one UVHC committee will be granted voting rights at all subsequent General Assembly meetings. Once residents become voting members, they become Active Members of UVHC, and they must remain in compliance with all meeting attendance, committee responsibilities, and requirements as outlined in the UVHC Constitution.
