General Assembly meetings normally take place every other Monday starting at 9:30 PM. Committee Meetings typically take place during alternating weeks. The UVHC Executive Board and Hall Representives follow an agenda and discuss UVHC business and make decisions on behalf of the organization through their voting rights. Residents may attend any regularly scheduled UVHC General Assembly meeting in an observatory capacity. Residents who attend 4 consecutive General Assembly meetings and successfully serve on one UVHC committee will be granted voting rights at all subsequent General Assembly meetings. Once residents become voting members, they become Active Members of UVHC, and they must remain in compliance with all meeting attendance, committee responsibilities, and requirements as outlined in the UVHC Constitution.
In order to effectively serve the residents of the University Village community, UVHC members must stay informed and educated about UVHC and the community. As a result, UVHC members must review the meeting agenda and resources prior to the start of every meeting. For clarification, please note the following:
"MM" stands for Main Motion.
Multiple main motions will be denoted by a letter (i.e. MMA, MMB, MMC)
Review the documents prior the day of the meeting
Discuss any questions or concerns during the main motion's discussion
